Rural Mental Health Matters has been awarded a £10,000 National Lottery Community Fund Grant!
This is to support the amazing rural mental health and wellbeing outreach project Socially Connecting Shaftesbury.
It means we will be able to reimburse expenses for our lovely volunteers, and provide more support at the project.
We are always looking for volunteers, so please get in touch by email or text RMHM followed by your message to 07834 787439 if you would like to volunteer.
Alternatively, please click on our Volunteer With Us page here.
Socially Connecting Shaftesbury is a once a month, fully accessible and free to the public, drop in. Where local residents can find out about what support there is and be directly signposted for help if they need it. It is open to anyone, regardless of age, ability or health condition. Many people just like to call in for a free cuppa and a chat, because it all starts with a conversation.
Sponsor Socially Connecting Shaftesbury! Rural Mental Health Matters is looking for businesses based in the South West to sponsor this much needed and well attended project too!
For a very low cost of just £80 a month for 6 months (minimum), businesses and organisations will have their logo on all promotional materials (flyers, posters etc) linked to the Socially Connecting Shaftesbury project. In addition, they will also be promoted on our website, on the Current Outreach Projects page.
Please get in touch if you would like to sponsor this much needed rural Wellbeing for All outreach project!
